What a clearance record is allowed to be

Evidence may cite a recording record when the source of that recording is named, and when the citation names the same entity, the same channel, and the same asset the clearance record is about. The citation still has to show the unbroken trail from that recording evidence to the clearance evidence, with named clearer / acceptor roles, named clearance criteria met (recording cited, obligation retired or transferred per instrument, residual risk accepted or closed), dates, and the active hold register the instrument names. A citation of a named recorder, or of a register line that was updated, without the clearance mechanics, is not this cleared.

A clearance record is allowed to be a clearance package with named clearer / acceptor roles, named clearance criteria met, and dates, with a trail from the recording evidence to that clearance: the recording cited against the named register entry of the successor obligation, the obligation retired or transferred per instrument for the remaining window, residual risk accepted or closed, or other named clearance evidence the instrument requires. It is not allowed to be a dashboard green tile with no clearance authority. It is not allowed to be a verbal "we can close that out." It is not allowed to be deleting a register row with no instrument path. It is not allowed to be a chat note that says cleared. It is not allowed to be a sentence that says finance will write it off.

The register the clearance retires from has to be the active hold register the instrument names for that remaining window, the same named operating / warranty / successor register the recording put the released obligations on. Clearance of a different successor, a different site, a different shift, or a recording the instrument does not name is not this cleared. The clearer, the cited recording, the retired or transferred obligation, the residual risk, and the dates have to match the recording evidence, and the recording evidence has to match the release evidence. A record that floats free of that trail is recording theater, or it is clearance theater, and it is not this cleared. Recorded is not cleared.

Named recorded is not cleared

Named recorded is not cleared. The recorded practice is not the cleared practice. A recording record answers whether that release was entered on the named operating / warranty / successor register / evidence ledger so those obligations stay on-file for the remaining window. A clearance record answers whether that recorded release was removed or retired from the active hold register only when the named clearance criteria were met: the clearer and acceptor named, the recording cited, the obligation retired or transferred per instrument, residual risk accepted or closed, and the trail from the recording evidence to that clearance. Recorded is not cleared.

A claim that recorded so it is cleared, while the recording trail is missing, is not this cleared. A dashboard green tile with no clearance authority, a verbal "we can close that out," deleting a register row with no instrument path, a chat note that says cleared, or a sentence that says finance will write it off while required recording evidence is missing is clearance theater, and it is not this recorded. A clearance claim alone is not proof the named recording evidence was on the file. A verbal "we can close that out" alone is neither. Recording evidence alone is not clearance of those successor obligations from the active hold register.

A named recording with no clearance evidence behind it is not this cleared. Clearance has to trail back to the recording evidence, and the recording evidence has to trail back to the release evidence. A clearance package that floats free of that trail is not this cleared. What this article is not claiming

This is an essay about the Decision Case order, not a customer case study. It names no plant, states no savings figure, states no price, and claims no prevented failure.
